  • Overview

Minimally invasive surgery is one of the main directions of the development of endoscopic surgery in 21st century medicine, also became the most important part of minimally invasive surgery. Today, the endoscopic technique has been involved in every area of surgery, and is widely accepted by scholars and surgical patients all around the world.

Our laboratory is focusing on providing an independent innovation platform for the research integration of endoscopic surgery technology development, construction an elite team for the development of engineering and industrialization of minimally invasive surgery, so in that sense, we carry out the investigation about the use of endoscopy equipment, estimate the status quo of application of innovations, as well as modified and improved the new medical equipments.

Main research interests

1. Study on the new technique innovation and standardization of laparoscopic surgery:

Improvement of the existing mode of operation, such as laparoscopic liver resection, laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy, by improving blood flow control technologies, endoscopic stapling technique, improve the security, simplify operations, and shorten the operating time, reduced the difficulty and risk.

2. Endoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors and its application:

Through animal experiments and cell and molecular biology, we intend to explain the mechanism of effect of pneumoperitoneum on tumor or haemodynamics, and provides a theoretical basis for finding solutions to these problems.

3. The research and development of endoscopic surgical instruments and equipment, including:

Development of new conventional endoscopic surgical instruments

Development and research of the robot for endoscopic surgical

Development of small-bore hollow organs consistent stent used in endoscopic surgical

Development and research of NOTES technology equipment

Development of new endoscopy imaging equipment
