Areas of focus:
Clinical diagnosis and treatment, as well as minimally invasive surgical treatment, for common thoracic diseases such as lung cancer, small lung nodules, esophageal cancer, and mediastinal tumors, particularly experienced in early diagnosis of lung cancer, segmentectomy, lobectomy, and sleeve resection under thoracoscopy and Da Vinci robotic assistance, as well as esophagectomy, mediastinal tumor resection through the subxiphoid approach, cervicothoracic junction tumor resection, resection of large mediastinal tumors, and vascular reconstruction techniques; radical surgery for locally advanced lung cancer and esophageal cancer following conversion therapy (including neoadjuvant chemotherapy and targeted therapy); double lung transplantation for end-stage lung disease; emergency rescue and treatment for thoracic trauma, combined thoracoabdominal injuries, and critical conditions such as esophageal fistula, tracheobronchial pleural fistula, and esophagotracheal fistula caused by various reasons.
Biographical sketch
Dr. HE Zhengfu is a doctor of medicine, a doctoral supervisor, and a chief physician. He currently serves as the Director of the Department of Thoracic Surgery at SRRSH. Dr. He specializes in the clinical diagnosis and minimally invasive surgical treatment of lung cancer, pulmonary nodules, esophageal cancer, and mediastinal tumors. His recent work has focused on integrating basic research with clinical practice to achieve early screening, diagnosis, and precision treatment of lung cancer. His research interests span various aspects of thoracic oncology and include the application of artificial intelligence and mass spectrometry technology in early and precise screening of pulmonary nodules. Dr. He has also successfully led several research projects, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, key research and development projects from the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and numerous provincial research projects. These endeavors have culminated in the establishment of a mature academic team that integrates clinical and basic research on pulmonary diseases. Dr. He's contributions extend to academic publications, with over 30 scholarly articles published in esteemed journals such as Lung Cancer, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Scientific Reports, and Frontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology.
