Born in the midst of the reform and opening up, SRRSH spent the first five years under the comprehensive administration of Loma Linda University Health in the United States as "an experimental field where the Western and Chinese hospital management cultures exchanges", which laid a foundation for its international management with high standards. We ranked among the "first cohort" of national public hospitals in the shortest time and continue to lead the development of multiple areas including reform of the medical and healthcare system, modern hospital management, minimally invasive medicine, international collaboration, smart healthcare, etc. SRRSH has been ranked A++ (top 1% in China) in the national tertiary public hospital performance evaluation for five consecutive years and was rated No.9 in 2022. We were the first in China to pass JCI accreditation, the first in China to achieve Magnet status, and the first member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network in China. We have been awarded the "Best Employer among Healthcare Institutions in China" for nine consecutive years and have received honors including National Health System Advanced Collective and Humanistic Loving Hospital. In addition, we are also the first public hospital in Zhejiang province to win the provincial Quality Management Innovation Award.
