Surgical and minimally invasive treatments for the liver, pancreatic, bile duct, and gallbladder cancers; minimally invasive surgery and laser lithotripsy for gallstones and intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile duct stones; diagnosis and treatment of splenic diseases and portal hypertension. Experienced in surgical treatments for pancreatic cystic lesions and endocrine tumors; surgical treatments for congenital biliary dilatation and liver transplantation.
Biographical sketch
Dr. JIANG Zhijun graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 1998 with a major in clinical medicine and obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. in 2007. He served as a visiting scholar at the Medical Center of the University of Kiel, Germany, in 2009. He worked in the Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery Department of the First Affiliated Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University from 1998 to 2022, and became the Deputy Director of the department in 2017. Then he entered SRRSH in May 2002 and served as the Deputy Director of the Department of General Surgery. Dr. Jiang was named one of the first "Rising Stars in the Medical Field" in Zhejiang Province in 2013. He contributed to the compilation of Liver Transplantation and Perioperative Management of Liver Transplantation. He has published over ten academic papers in domestic and international journals. He has been responsible for projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Department, and the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation.
