After graduating from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2013, Dr. LI Zheyong obtained his PhD degree in surgery. His main research interests include the occurrence, development and early diagnosis of the liver, gallbladder and pancreas related diseases, especially liver metabolism, liver injury and liver regeneration mechanism, minimally invasive surgery research and the application and development of minimally invasive instruments.

He won the 2023 Chinese Family Health Gatekeeper Individual Award (issued by the National Health Committee Capacity Building and Continuing Education Center), the advanced worker offered by Zhejiang University, and Excellent Staff Member by SRRSH, etc.
