After graduating from Shanxi Medical University in 2003, Dr. CHEN Qilong obtained his master's degree in surgery at Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2006. In 2011, he went to Shizuoka Prefectural General Hospital in Japan for training and learning. In 2013, he was awarded the Dr. Cheng Yu Tung Scholarship to go to Mary Hospital of the University of Hong Kong for training and learning.

He was awarded the title of Zhejiang Provincial Young Expert in Youth Positions, Zhejiang University Young Expert and Zhejiang University Advanced Worker in 2010. In 2015, he won the first place in the Zhejiang Province competition area in the video competition for open peritoneal surgery for inguinal hernia. In 2016, he won the first place in the finals of the Greater China Region Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair Surgery Video Competition. In 2019, he won the second prize in the National Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Surgical Skills Competition. He has led the research on single-port laparoscopic hernia repair disease in the Zhejiang Province and applied it to clinical practice. He has been responsible for clinical practice, scientific research, and teaching work in hernia and abdominal wall disease. He has hosted or participated in multiple research projects and published over twenty professional papers.
