Dr. CHEN Dingwei graduated from Zhejiang Medical University in 1993, and then received a doctoral degree in surgery from the same institution. He also studied as a visiting scholar at UCLA School of Medicine and Cleveland Medical Center in the United States. He has engaged in the clinical practice of general surgery for a long time, and is good at the clinical diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, gastrointestinal stromal tumor, gastrointestinal benign diseases (diverticular disease, intestinal adhesion, intestinal obstruction, etc.), gallstones, spleen diseases, etc. He has deep knowledge in laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery. He was responsible for a number of scientific research and teaching projects such as major science and technology projects of Zhejiang Science and Technology Department, projects funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province, and medical education research projects of the Chinese Medical Association. He has also published dozens of professional papers.
