Biographical sketch
Dr. LUO Peng graduated in 2014 with a doctoral degree of clinical medicine (M.D.) from the eight-year clinical medicine program of Zhejiang University School of Medicine (Badenian Class). He is a former visiting scholar at West Virginia University, USA, and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Rochester Medical Center, USA. Dr. Luo specializes in minimally invasive treatments for benign and malignant diseases of the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and gastrointestinal tract, including radical gastrectomy for stomach cancer, radical resection for colorectal cancer, hepatectomy, repair of gastrointestinal perforations, surgical resection of benign gastrointestinal diseases, and minimally invasive treatments for biliary calculi. Dr. Luo has led and participated in several provincial and ministerial-level projects, published 6 papers in SCI-indexed journals, and 2 papers in core domestic journals. In 2022, he was recognized as an Advanced Worker by Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He has also been awarded the second prize in the 2nd Zhejiang Province Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition and the first prize in the 2nd Teaching Innovation Competition of Zhejiang University.
