Biographical sketch
Ever since graduating from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2002, Dr. WU Zhengrong has worked in the SRRSH Department of General Surgery. With years of frontline clinical work, he has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of common benign and malignant diseases such as gastrointestinal, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and thyroid in various specialties of general surgery. He is mainly engaged in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the liver, gallbladder and pancreas (such as gallbladder stones, intra and extra hepatic bile duct stones, liver cancer, bile duct cancer, gallbladder cancer, pancreatic cancer, etc.), and is especially good at minimally invasive surgery (laparoscope/robot) in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscope for intra and extra hepatic bile duct stones, laparoscopic hepatectomy, pancreaticoduodenectomy, splenectomy, etc.
He has engaged in clinical research on cholangioscopy for more than 20 years. He has combined minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and cholangioscopy comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for various difficult, recurrent intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile duct stones and bile duct stenosis patients. His unique methods and leading expertise have saved numerous patients with moderate to severe hepatobiliary diseases.
Dr. Wu has hosted or participated in multiple national and provincial medical research projects, with dozens of published professional papers in his field.
