Dr. WANG Yong is a senior attending of General Surgery and Vice Director of the Gastric Cancer Treatment Center. Dr. Wang specializes in standardized and integrated diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal cancer, particularly skilled in robotic and laparoscopic radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer and radical resection for colorectal cancer. With nearly 30 years of experience, he was trained under Prof. Cai Xiujun in the field of minimally invasive surgery, focusing on the minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors, especially on clinical research of laparoscopic radical gastrectomy and comprehensive treatment for gastric cancer. He has personally completed over 1,000 minimally invasive surgeries for gastric cancer. Currently, he is a pioneer in Zhejiang Province in conducting robotic surgery for gastrointestinal tumors. By fully utilizing the most advanced robotic technology with extensive surgical experience, he was able to provide patients with gastrointestinal tumors with more precise treatments and functional preservation to improve their quality of life.
