Biographical sketch
HU Hongyang graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing and later obtained a master's degree in Public Health from Zhejiang University School of Public Health. In 2000, she completed advanced clinical training in ostomy and wound care at Loma Linda University Medical Center in the United States and obtained her International Ostomy Therapist Certificate in 2004. She has engaged in advanced clinical practice in wound and ostomy care for 25 years and established the first wound and ostomy care clinic in Zhejiang province. Her primary focus includes clinical, research, and teaching work on stoma complications, prevention and treatment of pressure injuries, lower extremities of venous ulcers, and diabetic foot ulcers. She collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for specific infections, recurrent lower extremities venous ulcers, and diabetic foot ulcers. She has led or participated in several national and provincial research projects and published numerous professional papers in her field.
