YUAN Hongdi is a chief nurse and an advanced practice nurse of diabetes at SRRSH. She has engaged in more than 40 years of clinical work and 15 years of diabetes education and management. She is a faculty member for the graduate courses "Advanced Nursing Practice" and "Advanced Health Assessment" at Zhejiang University and a lecturer for "Advanced Nursing Practice" for graduate students of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. She is also a faculty member for Zhejiang Province Diabetes Specialized Nurse, Gynecology Specialized Nurse, Orthopedics Specialized Nurse, and Pain Specialized Nurse Bases, a clinical mentor for the Diabetes Specialized Nurse Base of the Chinese Nursing Association, an excellent teacher for specialist nurses of the Zhejiang Nursing Association, a principal investigator for three bureau-level research projects, and a co-investigator for three bureau-level research projects. She published 12 papers in first-class or core journals as the first author and co-authored 3 books and 2 nursing norms.
