Biographical sketch
After graduating from Wenzhou Medical College in 2005, Dr. LU Bin obtained his Master’s Degree in Imaging Medicine and Nuclear Medicine at Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He has mainly engaged in ultrasound diagnosis and interventional procedures, including abdominal and pelvic, superficial organ and vascular ultrasound diagnostics;
contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) for visceral and cavity examinations; ultrasound-guided biopsies (cell and tissue sampling) and minimally invasive procedures; breast lump biopsy or excision with minimally invasive rotating cutter; percutaneous catheter drainage, fistulization and hyperthermic intraperitoneal perfusion therapy; percutaneous aspiration and sclerotherapy for cysts of various organs; ablation therapy for common tumors (hepatic, renal, thyroid and breast neoplasms) and uterine lesions (leiomyomas and adenomyosis). He has been responsible for and participated in multiple provincial and municipal medical research projects and published 8 papers in his field. He was once awarded the title of “Outstanding Individual” by the Zhejiang Society of Ultrasound in Medicine for contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
