After graduating from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2010 with a master’s degree in Clinical Medicine, Dr. MAO Yankai continue to pursue her doctoral degree in internal medicine at Zhejiang University School of Medicine. In 2019 and 2021, she completed advanced fellowship training in cardiac imaging at Hong Kong University Queen Mary hospital and Catholic University of Leuven Medical Imaging Research Center. 

She has mainly engaged in clinical work and scientific research of diagnostic ultrasound and related teaching tasks. She specializes in the comprehensive diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases, including cardiomyopathies, congenital heart diseases, vascular diseases and arrhythmia or pacing induced cardiomyopathy. She is the principal investigator of a medical research project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and also participated as a key member in several national and provincial medical research projects and published dozens of papers in her field.
