Dr. WU Fangchao is a seasoned rehabilitation medicine specialist with over 10 years of clinical experience, specializing in the rehabilitation of urinary and fecal dysfunction caused by various conditions, non-surgical treatment of neck, shoulder, lumbar, and leg pain, and botulinum toxin injection therapy for post-stroke limb spasticity and gait abnormalities. Recognized for his outstanding contributions, he has received multiple honors, including Advanced Worker of Zhejiang University and Zhejiang University School of Medicine, as well as Excellent Employee, Distinguished Teacher, and Excellent Communist Party Member of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital. Academically, he has published 26 research articles, participated in 5 major research projects (including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Zhejiang Province’s Key R&D Program, and the Zhejiang Health Commission’s Medical Research Program), and contributed to 7 monographs on surface electromyography and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Additionally, he served as Associate Editor for Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation: Evaluation and Therapeutic Technical Specifications (People’s Medical Publishing House) and holds 2 invention patents.
