After obtaining his doctoral degree from the School of Medicine, Zhejiang University, Dr. CHEN Jionghuang has dedicated himself to minimally invasive bariatric surgery and minimally invasive gallbladder surgery. The affiliated center performs an average of 800 bariatric surgeries annually, ranking first in the province in terms of surgical volume. He has been awarded the first place in the East China Region and the second place nationwide in the National Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Video Competition. He has served as a Principal Investigator and Key Participant in multiple projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He has published over 30 SCI-indexed papers and been granted multiple patents related to bariatric surgery.
