After graduating from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2016, Dr. LIN Xianfeng has been working at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital. He has mainly engaged in the clinical therapeutic intervention and scientific innovative research on orthopedic injuries and degenerative skeletal diseases. In his research, for the first time globally, he proposed cross-species transplantation of plant-derived photosynthesis system to repairing degenerative tissues and “inflammatory starvation” to promote diabetic wounds healing. Dr. LIN Xianfeng has been recruited in both the National-Level Talent Program and Zhejiang Provincial High-Level Health Talent Program for the high impact research papers he published in Nature and other CNS journals as corresponding author and several major national-level research programs he led as the principal investigator. He was also awarded the XPLORER PRIZE founded by New Cornerstone Science Foundation, Huaxia Youth Award for Medical Science and Technology, the first prize of the China Rehabilitation Medicine Science and Technology Award and named among the “35 Innovators Under 35 for China” in 2025 by MIT Technology Review.
