Biographical sketch
Dr. LIU Xiaolong completed an integrated undergraduate and postgraduate program at Zhejiang University School of Medicine from 2006 to 2013. In 2017, he obtained his Ph.D. in Minimally Invasive Surgery from the same institution. His professional expertise centers on the comprehensive management of malignant tumors of the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of common benign diseases affecting these organs.
In parallel, he carries out fundamental research focusing on the pathogenesis and progression mechanisms of hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic cancers. He has served as the principal investigator for a research project funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province. Furthermore, he has made significant contributions as a core member to one general project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one key provincial special project in Zhejiang, and three collaborative research projects sponsored by Zhejiang University. Additionally, he has co-authored three academic monographs and has published multiple peer-reviewed research articles in reputable journals.
