Dr. XU Bijun graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2013. He received advanced training in heart transplantation at Tongji Hospital in Wuhan in 2020 and training in left ventricular assist device (LVAD) technology at Fuwai Hospital in Beijing in 2023.

Dr. Xu specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common cardiac surgical conditions, including minimally invasive intervention for congenital heart diseases and major vascular disorders, surgical ablation for arrhythmias, surgical correction of congenital heart diseases, heart valve repair and replacement, and coronary artery bypass grafting. He is primarily responsible for heart transplantation and LVAD surgeries for end-stage heart failure. He has participated as a key member in one scientific research project under the Ministry of Science and Technology and led one teaching reform project at the departmental level. He has published six SCI papers as first author and three core journal papers in Chinese medical journals.
