Biographical sketch

Dr. TANG Weijian obtained his Doctorate in Surgery from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2018. He has long been dedicated to clinical practice, scientific research, and teaching related to thoracic surgical diseases, possessing a solid theoretical foundation and rich clinical experience.

 

In terms of diagnosis and treatment, he is proficient in the comprehensive management of thoracic oncology (including lung tumors, esophageal tumors, and mediastinal diseases) and the surgical treatment of thoracic trauma and functional diseases (such as pneumothorax, hyperhidrosis [palmar], and rib fractures), with an emphasis on standardized and individualized patient care. In scientific research, he focuses on exploring advancements in the field of thoracic surgery. He has published 5 SCI papers and has presided over or participated in 1 national-level project and 2 provincial/ministerial-level research projects, achieving a series of innovative research results.
