Graduated with a degree in Oncology from Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Dr. Chen has long been engaged in clinical practice, research, and teaching in colorectal tumors and perianal diseases. His clinical practice focuses on the comprehensive and standardized management of colorectal cancer, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of perianal conditions such as hemorrhoids, anal fistula, and anal fissure, in addition to endoscopic treatment of colorectal polyps. His principal area of expertise is the standardized management of colorectal cancer and perianal diseases. He has participated in multiple National Natural Science Foundation of China (General Program) projects, as well as provincial- and ministerial-level research and educational projects. As first author or corresponding author, he has published more than 10 SCI-indexed papers (highest impact factor: 11.2). He currently serves as Secretary of the Oncology Discipline at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine.
