Biographical sketch
Dr. Liu Xianglan graduated with a Ph.D. in 2019 and has since been working at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Her clinical expertise focuses on interventional treatment and imaging diagnosis of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, as well as optimization strategies for physiological pacing. She is the first to discover that the novel anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-35 can effectively promote the process of post-stent endothelialization, providing a new therapeutic basis for reducing adverse events after stenting. She has published over 30 SCI papers and has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Provincial Natural Science Foundation. She has received the ACAS Outstanding Research Award and the ESC Congress Excellent Research Award in Physiology.
