Dr. Sun specializes in minimally invasive hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgeries for conditions such as hydrosalpinx, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, endometrial polyps, intrauterine adhesions, and uterine septum. He has a particular focus on functional preservation surgeries, including laparoscopic tubal reconstructive surgery and reanastomosis, as well as myomectomy with preservation of the surgical capsule.
Biographical sketch
Dr. Sun graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2004 with a bachelor's degree and later obtained his M.D. degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Nanjing Medical University. He was a visiting scholar at Southmead Hospital in the United Kingdom. He has long been dedicated to the clinical, research, and teaching work in the diagnosis and treatment of common and complex gynecological diseases, minimally invasive gynecological surgery, and fertility preservation. He has led or participated in multiple research projects at various levels and has published 16 SCI papers in international peer-reviewed journals. His work, "Trophoblastic Microcirculation Occlusion for the Treatment of Cesarean Scar Pregnancy," won the third prize at the First Hangzhou Innovation and Translation Competition.
