Biographical sketch
Dr. Yanfang Mao graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2016 with a Ph.D. in Neurology. She subsequently completed her postdoctoral research in Clinical Medicine at the same institution. Her work focuses on the clinical management, teaching, and scientific research of neurological disorders, particularly cognitive impairments and Parkinsonism. She was honored as an Advanced Individual of Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2022. In 2023 and 2024, she won the second prize (Hangzhou Division) in the Cognitive Disorders Case Competition organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Physician Association.
Clinical & Research Achievements
Dr. Mao has led a project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Young Scientists Program) and has participated in multiple provincial and ministerial research projects as a key member. She has published several SCI papers as the first author and contributed to the book Essentials of Clinical Neurology.
