Dr. LIU Zhiwei, M.M., senior technologist, Director of the SRRSH Department of Blood Transfusion and Deputy Director of the Department of Clinical Laboratory. He has provided treatment services about blood type, blood transfusion, patient blood management, platelet rich plasma therapy, and therapeutic blood component apheresis. He participated in the formulation of several expert consensus: the expert consensus on platelet antibody detection, the expert consensus on the preparation technology of autologous platelet rich plasma, the expert consensus on the construction and development of Chinese clinical transfusion discipline in the next decade and the consensus on the immune cell resource bank of unpaid blood donors. He has participated in multiple national multicenter clinical studies: multicenter prospective cohort study on neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia caused by anti ‐ HPA antibody of Chinese pregnant women, multicenter retrospective cohort study on the risk of leukopenia PLT and adverse transfusion reactions, national multicenter clinical study on drug antibody and precise blood transfusion, adverse transfusion reactions alliance, autologous platelet rich plasma technology alliance. He is the author of blood transfusion technology and blood group gene detection and quality control. His research directions include basic and applied research of platelets and basic research of immune-related diseases. He has led and participated in dozens of projects, including the national 863 project, and provincial and ministerial projects and has published dozens of SCI articles. He edited 2 monographs and participated in the compilation of 6 ones.
