Biographical sketch
Dr. CHEN Shujie graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2003 and obtained a Ph.D. in internal medicine from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2012. She served as a visiting scholar at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and the University of Michigan. She has extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of precancerous gastric lesions and functional gastrointestinal diseases, with clinical research results incorporated into five disease guidelines and expert consensus led by the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association and the American College of Gastroenterology. As a primary awardee, she received several honors, including the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Zhejiang Province. For a long time, she has been committed to scientific research on gut microbiota and gastrointestinal diseases such as inflammation and tumors, achieving a series of innovative results. She has led several national and provincial key research projects and published over 10 high-level papers in journals such as Cell, Nature Communications, Advanced Science, Nature Aging, and EBioMedicine as the first or corresponding author in the past five years.
