After obtaining a master's degree from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2001, Dr. SUN Jihong joined the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He earned an M.D. in clinical medicine from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2009 and engaged in postdoctoral research in molecular imaging at the University of Washington (USA) from 2010 to 2011. In July 2011, he started working at SRRSH. He mainly focuses on the clinical, scientific, and educational work of imaging diagnosis for abdominal and pelvic diseases. He has conducted research on artificial intelligence and molecular imaging for precise diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors, as well as new types of imaging contrast agents and AI software for the early screening and diagnosis of colorectal cancer, which are currently undergoing clinical translation. He has led six projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and provincial major research projects and participated in three national major research projects. He has published dozens of professional papers, has been granted seven national and international invention patents, received the second prize for scientific and technological progress in Zhejiang Province, and was selected as a leading talent in the health field of Zhejiang Province in 2022.
