Dr. DAI Ning graduated from Zhejiang Medical University in 1983 and worked at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang Medical University. She earned her M.D. at Universität Gesamthochschule Essen, Germany in 1993. As a visiting scholar, she has visited Mayo Clinic, the University of Michigan, the University of Zurich in Switzerland, Monash University in Australia and other medical colleges for academic exchanges.

She has engaged in the research of gastrointestinal motility disorders, functional gastrointestinal diseases and digestive psychosomatic diseases for a long time. She has published more than 80 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals such as Am J Gastroenterol (impact factor 10.2) and participated in the editing of 5 books. Her research papers have been cited by ROME IV Diagnostic Criteria for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders, European guidelines and domestic guidelines. She has participated in the formulation of guidelines/consensus on chronic constipation in China and irritable bowel syndrome as a core expert.
