Dr. SI Jianmin graduated from Zhejiang Medical University School of Medicine in 1982 and later obtained a master's degree in medicine from the same institution. He studied at Yamagata University Medical Center in Japan. For over 40 years, he has engaged in clinical medical practice, teaching, and research in the field of digestive diseases, with a solid foundation and rich experience in clinical work. He has profound expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases, particularly in the monitoring, intervention, and prevention of gastric cancer and precancerous lesions. He specializes in the diagnosis of complex digestive diseases and the development of new techniques for endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. He has achieved internationally advanced and pioneering results in areas such as "high-quality healing and relapse prevention in ulcer treatment," "graded and pacemaker therapy for reflux esophagitis," "research on the role of microecology in IBS and treatments focused on improving quality of life," and "primary prevention of gastric cancer."

Additionally, he has made significant contributions to the study of gastrointestinal nutrition hormones and gastrointestinal aging, with a focus on maintaining and promoting overall health. He has led more than 10 national and provincial key medical research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and the 863 Program. He has received more than 10 awards, including the Chinese Medical Award and provincial and ministerial Science and Technology Progress Awards. He holds 4 U.S. and Chinese patents for inventions and 5 utility model patents. He has published more than 10 medical monographs and over 200 research papers.
