Biographical sketch
Dr. WANG Kan studied at Zhejiang University School of Medicine from 2000 to 2007, where he obtained a master's degree in clinical medicine. He then studied at the University of Tübingen in Germany and earned a doctorate in Medicine. In 2009, he joined SRRSH and visited Shizuoka Prefectural General Hospital in Japan and Changhai Hospital in Shanghai for academic exchange. He has accumulated solid clinical knowledge and skills in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He specializes in the endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of biliary and pancreatic diseases, precancerous diseases and early-stage cancers of the digestive tract, management of acute and severe conditions of digestive system diseases, and monitoring, prevention, and intervention of precancerous gastrointestinal lesions. He has been responsible for three provincial medical research projects, participated in multiple national medical research projects and published dozens of papers in his field.
