Biographical sketch
Graduated from Beijing Medical University in 1987, Dr. HE Qicai has engaged in cardiothoracic surgery ever since. He underwent formal continuing education training, furthering his studies at the Asian Heart Center in India (specializing in coronary bypass surgery) and the Vietnam Heart Center (training in valve repair surgery).
His main focus is on the surgical treatment of various heart diseases, including surgical management of heart valve diseases (valve replacement, valve repair), among others. He has published dozens of professional papers.
