Biographical sketch
Graduating from the First Military Medical University in 1999, Dr. QIAN Ximing pursued further studies at renowned medical centers in China including the Guangdong Huo Ying Dong Heart Center, Shanghai Children's Medical Center, Sichuan West China Hospital, and Beijing Anzhen Hospital. After 2004, he worked at multiple medical centers in Australia. In June 2010, he was recommended by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons China Exchange and Cooperation Program and subsequently introduced by Zhejiang University and SRRSH through a talent program.
His main focus areas include surgical treatment for valvular heart disease, aortic diseases, coronary artery disease, congenital heart defects, atrial fibrillation, heart failure, heart transplants, and artificial hearts. He directed or participated in multiple national and provincial medical research projects and published 20 professional papers.
