Minimally invasive surgery for colorectal diseases, such as laparoscopic or robotic colectomy (Complete Mesocolon Excision, CME), laparoscopic or robotic Total Mesorectum Excision (TME), laparoscopic or robotic Ilea pouch anal anastomosis (IPAA), Natural Orifice Specimen Extraction Surgery (NOSES procedures), transanal minimal invasive surgery (TAMIS), and surgical procedures for perianal diseases, such as, hemorrhoidectomy, fistulectomy, and colonoscopic polypectomy, such as EMR.
Biographical sketch
The Director of the SRRSH Department of Medical Affairs and a consultant of colorectal surgery, Dr. DAI Sheng specializes in colorectal surgery, especially laparoscopic or robotic surgery for colorectal cancer. He also specializes in the surgical treatment of perianal diseases, such as hemorrhoids, fistula, as well as colonoscopic polypectomy. After graduating from Zhejiang University School of Medicine, He had his resident and fellow training in SRRSH and had robotic surgery training at Mayo Clinic. He had his postdoctoral research training at NCATS, NIH.
