Dr. HUANG Xuefeng graduated from Zhejiang Medical University with a Bachelor of Medicine in July 1988 and a master's degree in oncology in December 1993. He earned his doctorate in oncology from Zhejiang University in June 2012. Between March 2001 and July 2002, he conducted postdoctoral research on gene therapy related to cancer treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the USA. He further studied colorectal and anorectal surgery during his visiting clinician programs at the Mayo Clinic in 2008 and the Cleveland Clinic in 2013.

Since September 2014, Dr. Huang has served as a chief physician in the SRRSH Department of Colorectal Surgery. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal and anorectal diseases. His expertise includes minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgeries for colorectal cancer, sphincter-preserving surgery for low rectal cancer, and the management of complex cases such as recurrent rectal cancer and emergency lower gastrointestinal bleeding. Dr. Huang is also proficient in surgical treatments for obstructed defecation and minimally invasive procedures for hemorrhoids and complex anal fistulas. He has led or participated in numerous national and provincial medical research projects and has published numerous papers in his field.
