Biographical sketch
Dr. WANG Xiaowei graduated from the seven-year clinical medicine program at Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2008, and later obtained a PhD in surgery from Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He studied minimally invasive treatment of colorectal tumors and anal diseases at Mayo Clinic in the United States, Shizuoka General Hospital in Japan, and Royal Free Hospital in the United Kingdom. He has mainly engaged in clinical, scientific research, and teaching work related to colorectal and anal diseases, including comprehensive treatment for colorectal cancer, colorectal polyps, benign and malignant tumors of the pelvic floor and anus, as well as surgical treatment for benign diseases such as hemorrhoids, anal fistula, rectal prolapse, constipation, etc. He has hosted or participated in multiple national and provincial key medical research projects and has published dozens of professional papers.
