Biographical sketch
After graduating from Hengyang Medical College in 1996, Dr. XIAO Haowen obtained her doctorate in internal medicine at Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Dr. Xiao has been trained as a visiting scholar at Mayo Clinic in 2019 and at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in 2022.
Dr. Xiao has mainly engaged in clinical practice and scientific research on hematologic malignancies, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and immune cell therapy and related teaching work. She specializes in the comprehensive treatment of leukemia, aplastic anemia, multiple myeloid, lymphoma, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and immune cell therapy. More than 300 patients have received allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at Dr Xiao's clinic treatment team. The 5-year overall survival of transplantation patients achieved the leading level in China. Dr. Xiao has been in charge of 5 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has published more than 30 papers as the first author or corresponding author in peer-reviewed journals (SCI), such as Blood, etc.. Her research achievements have been presented as oral presentations 20 times at the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Hematology, the Annual Meeting of the European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation, etc. Dr. Xiao has been selected for the second level of Zhejiang province "151 Talents Project". She was also picked for the "Hundred Talents Program (Clinical Medicine)" of Zhejiang University.
