Biographical sketch
After graduating from Health Science Center of Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2006, Dr. HU Zhijun obtained his master's and doctoral degrees in Orthopedic Surgery at Zhejiang University School of Medicine under the guidance of Prof. FAN Shunwu. He has worked at SRRSH since 2012 and completed the advanced fellowship training at Harborview Medical Center affiliated to Washington University School of Medicine. He has mainly engaged in the minimally invasive treatment of spinal degenerative diseases and fractures.
Dr. Hu has led 2 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and 5 projects funded by Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China (ZJNSF). He has also participated as a key member in 7 National Natural Science Foundation projects and 2 provincial key projects. As the first author or corresponding author, He has published numerous SCI papers in internationally renowned journals, including ACS Nano, Advanced Science, Bioact Mater, IJBS, Chem. Eng. J, JBJS, etc. , and 13 of them fall within the top JCR category (Q1). He presented at the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine(ISSLS)several times and delivered two oral presentations and two poster presentations.
As a key contributor, Dr. Hu has won one first-prize and one second-prize awards for the Science and Technology Advancement Award of Zhejiang Province, as well as two first-prize awards for the medical science and technology of Zhejiang Province. Furthermore, he also participated in the formulation of the first domestic guideline related to lumbar surgery, namely Clinical Application Guidelines for Lumbar Oblique Lateral Interbody Fusion.
