Biographical sketch
Dr. XIE Wenjia graduated with a bachelor's degree from China Medical University in 2010, obtained a master's degree from Wenzhou Medical University in 2014, and received his doctorate in Optometry from the New England College of Optometry (United States) in 2015. In 2018, he completed his postdoctoral fellowship in clinical medicine at Zhejiang University and was awarded the title of "Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow". He has primarily engaged in clinical practice, teaching, and research related to cataracts, optometry, and corneal/ocular surface diseases. He has served as the surgeon for the National Health Commission's "Lifeline Express" cataract project, and he is the principal investigator for a teaching research project (key project) of Zhejiang University. He has received multiple honors as an advanced worker at Zhejiang University School of Medicine, won third place in the Zhejiang University Young Teachers Teaching Competition, and has been honored as an outstanding teacher at SRRSH. He has published over ten papers as the first author in international journals, and his clinical research findings have been incorporated into international guidelines and authoritative textbooks. He serves as a reviewer for the Chinese Medical Journal and several other international journals.
