After graduating from Suzhou University in 2003 with his doctorate degree in orthopedics ( National Key Discipline and one of the First Batch of National Clinical Key Specialty ), Dr. YU Hangping has mainly engaged in clinical practice and scientific research and the teaching of spinal degenerative diseases, scoliosis, spinal fracture, spinal cord injury，failed back surgery syndrome and osteoporosis fractures. He specializes in differential diagnosis,  minimally invasive surgery, and enhanced recovery of cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, spinal fracture, spinal cord injury and failed back surgery syndrome, and osteoporosis fractures. He has led or participated in the study of a number of national and provincial medical projects and has published more than ten professional papers. Since August 2022, he has been invited by Shanghai Institute for Advanced Study Zhejiang University to lead translational medicine powered by artificial intelligence. By coordinating and uniting famous Chinese hospitals and doctors, he has promoted the formation of the first guideline for scoliosis as a co-corresponding author and deputy head of the expert group, and the intelligent and individualized diagnosis and treatment of regenerative medicine and musculoskeletal diseases.
