Total hip arthroplasty and revision surgery for avascular necrosis of the femoral head, hip dysplasia, and degenerative changes of the hip and knee joints in elderly patients, as well as noncompartmental knee arthroplasty; minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery for shoulder instability, rotator cuff injuries, and cruciate ligament injuries and meniscus tears in the knee joint.
Biographical sketch
Dr. SHI Peihua graduated from Wenzhou Medical College in 1988. A resident, associate professor, and professor at SRRSH since 1993, he has engaged in clinical practice, research, and teaching work in orthopedics for over 30 years, with rich clinical experience and proficiency in performing various difficult operations. He is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of joint diseases, spinal diseases, and fractures and traumas. He was the first in the province to perform surgery using arthroscopy to treat shoulder dislocations, rotator cuff injuries, and knee joint diseases. He has published over ten clinical and basic research papers in national first-class journals and SCI journals. He has hosted four projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation projects and two provincial and ministerial research projects. He has won the first prize of the 2012 Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education (cooperative).
