Radiotherapy and comprehensive treatment of malignant tumors such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma, head and neck cancer, esophageal cancer, lung cancer, rectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, gallbladder cancer and liver cancer; application of international advanced radiotherapy techniques, such as intensity-modulated radiotherapy and stereotactic radiotherapy.
Biographical sketch
After graduating from Norman Bethune Medical University in 1990, Dr. SUN Xiaonan obtained his doctorate in oncology at Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Then he visited the Loma Linda University School of Medicine Proton Therapy Center and Stanford University Cancer Center.
He specializes in radiotherapy-based comprehensive treatment and concurrent chemoradiotherapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, head and neck cancer, esophageal cancer, lung cancer, rectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, gallbladder cancer, liver cancer and other malignant tumors. He has been responsible for or participated in multiple national and provincial medical research projects and published more than 20 high-quality papers in the Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology, Clinical Cancer Research, International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics, Radiotherapy and Oncology and other domestic and foreign authoritative journals.
