Biographical sketch
Dr. LIU Chao graduated and got his doctoral degrees (Ph.D. & M.D.) from Zhejiang University in 2012. He was a visiting scholar at Strong Memorial Hospital, the University of Rochester, NY, US in 2011. He is currently the deputy chief physician in the SRRSH Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Diabetic Foot Multidisciplinary Team. He developed an effective technique for arthroscopy-assisted reduction and internal fixation in the management of malleolar fracture. He and his team completed a great number of cases of diabetic foot ulcers/osteomyelitis by using induced membrane techniques, and those cases make up the largest case resource pool in Zhejiang Province. He is the author of several peer-reviewed articles published in national and internationally reputed peer-reviewed journals.
