Biographical sketch

After graduating with a master's degree from the Department of General Thoracic Surgery at Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2010, Dr. YOU Liangkun has worked in the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department at Wuhan General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Command. From 2012 to 2015, he pursued a Ph.D. in Oncology at Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Upon graduation in 2015, he began working in the Department of Medical Oncology at SRRSH. From 2018 to 2020, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Cancer Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. His research focuses primarily on drug resistance in targeted therapies for lung cancer and melanoma, as well as RNA modifications and metabolism. Dr. You is currently a deputy chief physician in the Department of Medical Oncology and a member of the Mayo Clinic INTERCEPT international exchange program. He also served as a medical support staff member for the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou. He has led and participated in several projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province and has been involved as a researcher in over a dozen international and global multicenter clinical studies.
