Biographical sketch

Dr. BIAN Renxiu graduated from Chonnam National University in South Korea in 2009 with a major in rehabilitation medicine. Currently, she works in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at SRRSH. She specializes in neuroregulation research on brain function and rehabilitation treatment for cognitive dysfunction, swallowing disorders (Dysphagia), and speech impairments (Aphasia) caused by conditions such as stroke and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Bian is also skilled in perioperative rehabilitation and intensive rehabilitation for patients with cardiac diseases. In November 2012, she pursued advanced training in cardiac rehabilitation at Cabrini Hospital in Australia, and in January 2018, she furthered her studies in neurorehabilitation at Loma Linda University Health in the United States. From August 2022 to July 2024, she participated in a medical assistance mission in Xinjiang. She has published six SCI academic papers, participated in one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, and led or co-led three provincial research projects. Additionally, she has contributed to two academic books and served as a committee member for the national textbooks Rehabilitation Medicine for both the 12th and 13th Five-Year Plans.
