Areas of focus:
Management of challenging anesthesia for complex and critically ill patients, including geriatric anesthesia, cardiac macrovascular anesthesia, and transplantation; particularly hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgical anesthesia (the first in China to implement laparoscopic air embolism management and early warning systems); innovative anesthesia treatments, such as thoracic sympathetic blockade for acute severe pancreatitis, cervical sympathetic blockade to alleviate sleep disorders and shoulder and neck pain; and peripheral nerve blocks for chronic pain management.
Biographical sketch
Dr. YU Xin graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine. She has served as a visiting scholar at Gloucester Medical Center in the UK and the University of Nuremberg in Germany. Currently, she works at the SRRSH Department of Anesthesiology and holds the position of Vice President of the Deqing Branch of SRRSH. With over 20 years of experience in anesthesia practice, research, and teaching, she specializes in geriatric anesthesia, the management of complex and critically ill patients, and the advancement of anesthesia treatment concepts. Dr. Yu has been dedicated to the research and development of various medical devices, as well as the promotion of medical artificial intelligence. She has published more than 30 academic papers and has been actively involved in numerous national and provincial research projects.
