Biographical sketch
Dr. DONG Xuehong obtained her bachelor's degree at Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 1998 and her doctoral degree at Shanghai Medical School of Fudan University in 2007. She worked at the Joslin Diabetes Center of Harvard University as a postdoctoral researcher for a year and was trained at Sheffield University of UK to learn clinical standardized diagnosis and treatment of diabetic neuropathy. She received training at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She has mainly engaged in clinical practice and scientific research on obesity, diabetes and their associated complications (especially neuropathy). She also specializes in the comprehensive treatment of pituitary and adrenal disease, osteoporosis and parathyroid diseases, thyroid diseases, etc. She has been responsible for or participated in multiple national and provincial medical research projects and published dozens of papers in her field.
