Dr. CHAO Guanqun is the Assistant to the Director of the SRRSH Department of General Practice. She has engaged in clinical practice of general practice for more than 15 years, and is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common and frequent diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, metabolic syndrome, and gastrointestinal diseases, chronic disease management, interpretation of physical examination reports, and lifestyle and exercise guidance. She completed a joint residency in China and the United States and was a visiting scholar at Genesys Medical Center in the United States and the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. She has participated in the compilation of a series of general practice textbooks of the People's Medical Publishing House, and undertook the teaching of an eight-year program and MBBS international students of Zhejiang University. She has led 2 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 projects funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province, 3 projects of traditional Chinese medicine science and technology in Zhejiang Province, 1 project of medical and health science and technology in Zhejiang Province, and has published more than 30 SCI articles as the first author.
