He graduated from Zhejiang Medical University in 1990 and received his doctorate in 2005. He had intensive study in the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease, dystonia and tremor diseases. He is particularly good at using botulinum toxin A to treat facial spasms, various types of dystonia, muscle spasms and various headaches. He has been responsible for the national continuing medical education program "Botulinum Toxin Type A Clinical Application Learning Class" for more than 20 sessions. He has won three Science and Technology Progress Awards of Zhejiang Province. He has led and participated in more than 10 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province, with project funds of more than 2 million yuan. He has published more than 70 papers, of which more than 20 are included in SCI.
