After graduating from Zhejiang Medical University in 1987, Dr. WANG Yirong was assigned to the Second Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang Medical University and was transferred to SRRSH in 1998 and promoted to Chief Physician in 2002. He has mainly engaged in clinical practice, scientific research and teaching of neurosurgical-related diseases. He has unique insights into the minimally invasive surgical treatment of nervous system tumors, intracranial aneurysms, vascular malformations and hydrocephalus, syringomyelia and spinal cord vascular malformations, and the application of neuronavigation and neuroendoscopy. He has led or participated in a number of medical research projects at the provincial and ministerial level and above and published dozens of professional papers.
