Biographical sketch
After graduating from Zhejiang University in 1999, Dr. LI Xinwei obtained his M.D. at Kiel University in Germeny. He has worked at the SRRSH Department of Neurosurgery for more than 20 years and accumulated rich clinical experience. He has served as a chief resident physician for nearly ten years and the teaching secretary of the department for more than five years. Since 2022, he has served as the Distinguished Director and Director of the Department of Neurosurgery at Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Sir Run Run Shaw Alaer Hospital and carried out the construction task of Xinjiang Construction Corps National Regional Medical Center. As the Assistant to the Director, he is proficient in minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of central nervous system tumors and vascular diseases, especially minimally invasive spinal neurosurgery, peripheral nerve diseases, severe craniocerebral injury, hydrocephalus, spinal cord and peripheral nerve tumors. He has led or participated in the completion of 1 national scientific research project, 1 leading goose project, 5 provincial and ministerial projects, and published nearly 20 papers in SCI and domestic core journals as the first author or correspondent author. He has participated in the work of going to the countryside or the "Shuangxiachen" program in Longyou, Songyang, Deqing and Shengsi many times.
